Cut Me
Slice open my chest
And remove my heart
Hold in your hands
Where love starts
Sever my crown
Remove the brain
Analyze the neurons
Love explain
Chop off my feet
I'll crawl to you
A trail of blood
See me through
Remove my hands
With only nubs
I'll hold you still
Forever love
Manhood extracted
Cook in your stew
That thing that always
Troubles you
Poke out my eyes
I cannot see
Other vixens
Tempting me
Pierce my tongue
Attach your chain
Drag me around
In the rain
Carve your initials
On my chest
Proclaim to the world
You're the best
Dissect every part
Only then you'll see
I love you with all the
Pieces of me
What you'll find on this site is a vast array of poetry, covering every subject I can think of to cover. I am what you might call a fiction poet. Almost nothing I write is from personal experience, other than the basic human experience we all go through each day. So please do not assume that the situations, feelings, ideas or even people presented in my work is reflective of the author's personal beliefs or views. I often think of a phrase, and just expound upon that and create something.
You'll find a lot of poetry here using classic forms, such as various sonnets, triolets, pantoums, etc. I've also created my own form of poetry, called the monotetra. You'll find more on this by clicking on the monotetra page. If you have any questions at all about the forms of poetry used on this site, please email me at m_walker@aristotle.net.
Hear something? That's a song I created using Garage Band software from Apple, titled "Southern Comfort."
